The Foundation Challenge has been extended to September 30th!
Coming Together as One, Working Together for Animal Health
For the last four years you have embraced our fundraising campaign known as the Specialty Challenge and your support has resulted in nearly $500,000 in donations. Those donations have helped fund research grants and promote awareness of veterinary specialty medicine. The ACVIM Foundation has awarded over $1 million dollars to fund 64 humane studies and 3 fellowships.
This year the Specialty Challenge was renamed the Foundation Challenge in order to align with its new goals of focusing on the power of each individual supporter where Every gift matters. Every gift counts. Every person can make a difference.
This year the Foundation Challenge was scheduled to end at our annual conference in June BUT we are extending this year's campaign to September 30, 2011. Last year the Challenge raised $63,300. So far this year's Challenge has raised $78,257 with a goal of $150,000. Now more than ever, the support of the ACVIM community is vital in ensuring that this good work can continue.
