The 2007 Specialty Challenge has come to a close and it is my pleasure to announce that the Specialty Challenge Champion is NEUROLOGY with an average gift of $319.28!!

Both Neurology and Oncology will receive special recognition at the 2008 ACVIM FORUM.
We thank all of you for stepping up to the challenge. Collectively the Specialty Challenge raised $265,258!! This next challenge will surely be Small and Large Animal Internal Medicines turn to dominate!!
On top of the very successful specialty challenge, this was another record breaking year for our Foundation. Donations totaled over $569,000 for the ’06 – ’07 fiscal year. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to serve all of our Diplomates, the ACVIM, and the veterinary profession. We can expect another record breaking year in grant money made available for research and in raising the awareness of specialty medicine through initiatives such as the Jack and Jill campaign.

Here are easy ways you can assist in generating more funds for your Foundation:
- Promote the ACVIM matching grant. The ACVIM has renewed their $50,000 matching grant to the ACVIM Foundation! The ACVIM will match donations made by Sept. 30, 2008 up to a total of $50,000. Display this flyer in your practice. Let your clients know that their donations will double if received by Sept. 30, 2008.
- Display our new ACVIM Foundation brochures in your private practice. Please contact Heather Ratynski at Heather@acvim.org for more information or click here to download an order form. Help us raise the visibility of your ACVIM Foundation. All brochures are free of charge!
- Take the matching grant a step further by matching all client donations. Help your client's donations triple! Display the Diplomate-Client matching form in your practice.
- Start a Memorial Program at your Private Practice. Veterinary Private Practices that would like to participate in the ACVIM Foundation Memorial Program can download the Memorial Donation forms by using the link below. For more details on this program, please contact Heather Ratynski at Heather@acvim.org.

Additional giving options:
- Become a Leadership donor by making a gift of $1,000. Your gift can be paid in monthly installments or a lump sum via check or credit card.
- Become a Leadership Practice by making a $5,000 gift. Your gift can be paid in monthly installments or a lump sum.
All of our Individual Leadership donors and Leadership Practices are recognized annually at the ACVIM Forum, Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine, the ACVIM Foundation Website and Annual Report.
