Support a Study
With a gift of $12,500 or more, you can fully sponsor a study. In return for your generosity, the ACVIM Foundation will send you periodic updates communicating the progress of the study. We will also acknowledge your generosity as a sponsor in all printed references to the study - or, if you choose, you can donate to a specific study anonymously.
The Foundation is seeking support for studies in these areas:
Small Animal Internal Medicine: internal diseases including those involving stomach and intestine, kidneys, bladder, endocrine (thyroid and diabetes), liver, and respiratory conditions in dogs and cats.
Large Animal Internal Medicine: internal diseases including those involving stomach and intestine, kidneys, bladder, endocrine (thyroid and diabetes), liver, and respiratory conditions in horses, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.
Cardiology: diseases of the heart and lungs in small and large animals.
Neurology: diseases of the nervous systems including the brain, spinal cord and muscle disorders in small and large animals.
Oncology: cancer treatment for small and large animals.
