The loss of a beloved animal can be just as hard as losing a human friend or family member. Sometimes animals are all the family that some people have had. There may have been a deep bond between human and animal where they both truly loved and cherished each other. It is just as important to take care of yourself when an animal dies as when you lose a human family member – even more so because non-animal owners might not understand your grief.

For a donation of $100 or more you may simply post a short phrase (such as, "In memory of our beloved Sparky-We Miss You") or you may create a page with a story and photo of your friend. Memorial donations at this level will also be recognized on our Post A Paw page. And by donating to the Foundation you help honor your loved one's memory by supporting our work in awareness, investigation and education.
