Sweetie Pie & Snowball
Quite possibly our youngest supporter, Emma Philipp, age 8, graciously donated her savings to the ACVIM Foundation after both of her cats, Sweetie Pie and Snowball, needed specialty care. The Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego were able to save Sweetie Pie's life, but when there was no cure for Snowball's thrombosis, Emma knew she wanted to support animal health studies that could potentially find cures for diseases such as this in the future. Her generous gift was matched by her mother as well as Snowball's doctor, Dr. Julie Fischer, tripling the impact of her generosity.
The ACVIM Foundation appreciates Emma's support very much! It's people with big hearts like her that can make a difference in the lives of our four legged friends!
